Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Home Helpers website ("Site") operated by Home Helpers. By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Services

Home Helpers provides informational content, downloadable guides, checklists, and optional premium services. Services may include but are not limited to:

  • Free editorial content on moving, buying, selling, and mortgages;
  • Downloadable templates and checklists;
  • Premium consultations or partnerships with vetted professionals.

Descriptions of services on the Site are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute professional advice. You should consult licensed professionals for legal, tax, financial, or real-estate-specific decisions.

User Accounts and Conduct

When you create an account or submit content through the Site, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. Prohibited conduct includes:

  2. Uploading content that infringes intellectual property rights or is unlawful;

Liability and Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home Helpers, its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. Our aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid, if any, for the specific service at issue in the last 12 months.

Dispute Resolution

For disputes arising from these Terms, parties agree to seek informal resolution first by contacting one another. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association or the equivalent in your jurisdiction, unless prohibited by law. Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis; you agree not to pursue class actions or consolidated proceedings.

We may modify or discontinue the Site or Services at any time. We may update these Terms periodically. When material changes are made, we will post notice on the Site or send notice to registered users. Continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Home Helpers and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of laws principles, except where local law requires otherwise. For disputes not subject to arbitration, courts located in New Jersey will have exclusive jurisdiction.

Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder of the Terms will remain in force. No waiver of any provision will be deemed a further or continuing waiver unless expressly provided in writing.
